What is the difference between a dental chair and a dental unit?
In the trade the two terms overlap. Strictly, the dental chair is the patient chair itself, while the dental unit is the complete treatment centre: chair, doctor's delivery system with handpiece tubing and 3-way syringe, assistant instruments, operating light, spittoon and control system. Every VOTEN model ships as a complete dental unit; the air compressor and suction are ordered separately. Our "Dental Unit Explained" page goes through each part.
Do you sell directly to clinics?
Yes. Clinics can order a single unit direct from the factory — there is no minimum order. Each chair ships with an installation video and wiring and plumbing diagrams, and our engineer can join the first installation by video call. Distributors get volume pricing and OEM options through the distributor programme.
Which model should a distributor stock first?
For a general stock order we recommend the C33 series: two-motor electric chair, 3 memory positions, sensor LED light and a 4-hole instrument tray. Per-container loading quantities are in the packing data we send with the price list.
Can the chair be delivered with a compressor and small equipment as one package?
Yes. Most distributors order the chair as a clinic package: chair + doctor stool + oil-free compressor + handpiece set + scaler + curing light + intraoral camera, packed and documented as one shipment.
What is the lead time for a container order?
Sample units ship first; container orders are scheduled after deposit and the lead time is confirmed on your proforma invoice. Sea freight to West Africa, Latin America and the Gulf typically takes 25–40 days.
